These glucose sensors are for use with the Guardian RT or the Paradigm 522/722. They literally changed my life, and if you're good at filtering information, they will change yours too. They are expensive, but they shouldn't be this expensive: do NOT buy this product from this vendor. You can get these direct from the manufacturer for less than 40% of this price. Just go to [...] and click on the store button at the top of the page, or give Minimed customer service a call - as an 8-year Paradigm user, I've always found them to be helpful and professional.

I found the learning curve with the sensors to be much steeper than the learning curve for the pump itself, so be prepared to spend some real time on this at first. Ice down the insertion site REALLY well, because the needle is huge and it hurts a LOT. I usually keep the ice on until my skin turns white, and that way I don't feel a thing. The tape on the sensor is inadequate, so you'll need to use a strip of paper tape over the top of the whole unit (transmitter + sensor) once you have it all put together.

I could seriously go on and on and on about how much I love CGM, but you can find that kind of review elsewhere on the internet. Go for it. Just don't buy your sensors here.
